Adult Faith Formation

This session is part 2 of 2 and builds on the 10 classes held last fall. The second session of 10 classes will begin January 20 or January 22. We will continue to use the book from the fall session. If you did not purchase the book for the Fall 2025 session and need to purchase one now, the cost is $40 and can be paid at the parish office.

Adult Faith Formation at St. Paul the Apostle Parish is a ministry of the Faith Formation Office that offers programs to help participants learn about and live our Catholic faith.  The ultimate goal is to help Catholics know and live the Gospel values of love, forgiveness, peace, and justice.

Our goals are fourfold:

• Invite and enable ongoing conversion to Jesus through holiness of life;
• Promote and support active membership in the Catholic community;
• Build community within the parish and among course participants;
• Call and prepare adults to act as disciples in mission to the world.

Classes are offered on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. or on Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at St. John’s Church Hall, for several weeks in the Spring and the Fall.  Classes may vary from four to ten weeks in length, depending on the topic.  The ninety-minute format generally includes a 30-50-minute video, a short break, and then 30 minutes of table discussion. The atmosphere is friendly and casual.
