All tables have been filled, thank you for your support!
If you are ready to register, please review the Hostess Guidelines linked below, then email [email protected]. Join women of our Parish, and their family and friends for a special evening with inspiring talks, delicious food and great company! Volunteer hostesses are needed to set a candlelit table and prepare and serve hors d’oeuvres and dessert for one of 24 tables. They may have guests at their tables or make room to meet new women from our Parish. Guests may assist their hostess, if needed, by contributing a food item to share. There is no charge for Advent by Candlelight, but beautiful gift baskets are raffled during this evening to assist with costs and any donations are gratefully accepted.
Advent by Candlelight is usually held on Saturday in mid-November in St. John Church Hall. Registration for this event begins in mid-September. Please watch for our bulletin announcements, visit our Parish website or see the posters that hang in each church in September. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to reserve early because tables do fill quickly!

OUR 2025 SPEAKER This year, we welcome Monét Souza from Boston as our Advent by Candlelight speaker. Monét is a graduate of Franciscan University with a BA in Theology and Catechetics. Monét has gone on speaking tours with Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, spoken at Newman Centers, and leads Advent and Lenten Parish Missions. Monét also hosts her YouTube channel (A Message of Hope), TV show (Anchored), and more. The focus of her talk will be The Power of the Rosary. We must lean on the weapon of our times to defeat the enemy that is prowling about our world. Monét wasn't always close to Mother Mary until she needed the intercession of her Mother. Hear the powerful witness Our Lord and Our Lady played in her life. More at: monetsouza.com
